Train up a child in the way
he should go, and when he
is old he will not turn from it.

We will have our first meeting on Tuesday, August 31st from 6:45 to 7:45pm on the lower level of the Swanson Branch of the Omaha Public Library (9101 W. Dodge Rd.) It’s easiest to enter the main entrance on the south side. The staircase is to the left and the meeting room is on the north side of the lower level.

Tea Party Teens will not meet on any specific day. Instead, group members will be offered a weekly activity related to the election. We only ask that you try to do two a month in September and October, and reserve 10/30 to 11/2 for the BIG PUSH! After that we will meet for special activities, culminating in our out-of-town spring trip.

Bring your friends and change your country!

Hands-on civics education!

Transcript-enhancing volunteer experience!

Valuable internships and networking opportunities!

Serve your country and make a difference!

Can we repeal the healthcare law and other harmful laws?

Can we protect homeschooling from excessive state interference?

Yes … if Republicans take back Congress and Nebraska’s unicameral has homeschool-friendly state senators.

But it is only possible with AN ENERGIZED VOLUNTEER FORCE!

We need the support of homeschool community; specifically, teens, (ages 14+).

Nebraska’s homeschooled families continue to be a dedicated grassroots voice in the political process.  The November 2 election is critical for America’s future:

Like Paul Revere, volunteers carry the message on behalf of a variety of conservative candidates through:

*Walking neighborhoods and talking to residents

*Walking in local parades

*Making strategic phone calls

*Assisting with campaign mailings

Why volunteers are so important?

*Volunteers win elections

*Volunteers help conservative candidates contact more voters than otherwise possible

*Volunteers collect valuable feedback for candidates from constituents

What will YOU gain from your volunteer experience?

*First-hand knowledge of our government and political system

*Unique education opportunity geared to homeschooled teens

*Networking not only with volunteers, but also political and community leaders

*Documented volunteer civic experience for transcripts/scholarship applications

*Internship opportunities
