A Parental Rights in Education conference, featuring Michael Farris, founder of the Home School Legal Defense Association, will take place

Cost: There is no charge to attend. (Donations will gladly be accepted.)
Childcare: Child Evangelism Fellowship will be providing a children's program.
Program: Dr. Farris will be speaking on the following topics:
1) Parental Rights
2) Homeschooling Freedom
3) Parental Responsibilities from a Biblical Worldview
Bob Hastings will present the public school view. Arin Hess will give the view of the private Christian school. They will address current rights issues, changes on the horizon, etc.
Mike Flood, speaker of the Nebraska Legislature, will also speak briefly.
A panel, consisting of the speakers, parents, and students, will close out the day. Questions for the panel might include, "What difficulties did you have starting or transitioning to a certain venue?," "How did you prepare for college?," How do you address or resolve issues with school boards?," in addition to questions from the audience.
