Omaha Northwest High School Choir Auditions

Curtis Isaacson, the choral director at Omaha Northwest High School asked to send out audition information for homeschool students in the area.

Attached you will find a letter to parents that explains more details about the program and audition process.

Registration deadline approaching for A NIGHT TO REMEMBER - Prom alternative!

Registration deadline is approaching for "A Night to Remember" Christian Prom alternative!


The big night is April 20th, but to ensure you have a spot, please register by April 5th! This really will be a night to remember, with dancing, dinner, a limo ride, and cosmic bowling. This event is open to teens 9th grade and up! Visit our website to register or for more information.

Judges for Homeschool Debate tournament needed

Judges for Bellevue home school debate tournament needed! We need people to judge one or more rounds of debate at our upcoming tournament in Bellevue. The time commitment is approximately 2 1/2 hours or more - this includes the time for your orientation and time to fill in your ballots. The actual debate round is about 1 1/2 hours. Judges must be 18 or older and have finished high school.

From interstate I-80, take the US-75 S exit -EXIT 452- toward EPPLEY AIRFIELD / DOWNTOWN / BELLEVUE. Merge onto US-75 S toward BELLEVUE via KENNEDY FRWY. Stay on KENNEDY FRWY for 6.1 miles. Take the NE-370 exit. Turn Left and follow NE-370 for 1.6 miles. Great Adventures is on your left.

HEN E-Tree Policy

The HEN E-tree is a weekly communication sent to area homeschoolers informing them of timely events and news in the homeschooling community. The E-tree is primarily reserved for:

One-time events which did not make it into the HEN newsletter prior to the deadline (the 10th of the month)
Legislative items which affect homeschoolers
Prayer requests
Other important news and events that are specifically of interest to homeschoolers

Advertising a business is not permitted on the E-tree, although information regarding one-time events which pertain to homeschooling will be submitted. Information does not meet the above criteria for the E-tree, or which is not time-sensitive, will not be published on the HEN E-tree and can be submitted to the HEN newsletter (newsletter@omahahen.org). E-tree submissions should contain a brief summary of the event or news and should also include contact information should readers desire further information.
