HEN Used Curriculum Sale

June 7, 2008
9:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m.
Concordia Jr./Sr. High School
(northwest corner of 156th and Fort)

We would love to see you at the sale. This is a great location, comfortable and roomy, with easy parking. The longer hours seemed to work well last year, so we will try it again this year. The Veritas Homeschool Choir will be serving concessions. There will be sloppy joes for lunch and breakfast treats and who knows what other delights. This is a fundraiser for the choir to earn money to buy a set of bells, and it gives you a nice treat on your day out at the sale.

Admission: HEN members free with ID card
$2.00 for nonmembers

Table fees: $5.00 for a 4ft section of table, $2.50 for each additional 2ft section

All requests for tables should be mailed by the end of May.

Send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your request and check made out to HEN to the following address. You will receive confirmation via your envelope.

INFO ON "TALES OF THE HEARTILY HOMESCHOOLED"

What do you get when you throw twenty children, four parents, several cross-country trips, and a sense of humour between the covers of one book?

Lots and lots of big family fun that will tickle the funny bones and warm the hearts of your entire clan.

Rachel Starr Thomson is the oldest of twelve children. Carolyn Currey, her second cousin, is the oldest of eight. Not only are their families huge, they also homeschool! Drawing on some of their favourite memories, Rachel and Carolyn have written a book of essays that will make you laugh, think, and thank God for family.

Museum of Religious Arts

We have an exciting event coming on June 22 and have attached a poster.

TSP Poster

The September Project will be giving two performances that afternoon. The poster prints on letter sized paper, we would appreciate it if you would help us get the word out. Printing and hanging even one in a high profile area will help us get the word out.

If you would like to learn more about The September Project click on their link: http://www.indieheaven.com/ecard/theseptemberproject , here you can read their bio and listen to their music.

The Museum hopes to see you here for this uplifting, contemporary Christian music concert.

Also, don't forget about our Annual Garage Sale on Saturday, June 7 from 8 - 5. We would love to see you here filling up your arms with goodies (all proceeds help support the museum). If you have any good used items but not enough for your own sale, and you would like to donate them, we'll be happy to accept them, just contact us through the phone number or email listed below.
