Wow! Would you like a “fun” book to start the
year off right?! Then this is one book you’ll want
to acquire! Homeschoolers tend to like to be creative, right?
Or maybe you wish you were creative, but lack the imagination?
In either instance, Julie, the author of this book, has
outdone herself in the creativity department!! Each day
of the year covers something new and unique to celebrate.
Titles such as Trivia Day, Frisbee Anniversary Month, National
Pie Day, False Teeth Day, No Homework Day, National Teddy
Bear Day, Tootsie Roll Day, National Shoe Week, Armored
Car Birthday, Computer Learning Month, Mathematics Education
Month, the Be-Kind-to-Animals Week, and the list goes on
and on. In fact, it goes on for 365 pages! (smile)
First you’ll see the Topic of Conversation for the
day. Following are these sections: Questions to Discuss,
A Related Activity, Curriculum Connection, A Verse to Memorize,
and a Prayer Suggestion. The related Activities are a riot!
Who knows, you may end up making a pig book mark, juggling
3 balls, singing Old McDonald while you drink a glass of
milk, or making a silly clown using an ice ream cone! This
is one way to start your school day off right! Why not have
a little fun and put a smile on everyone’s face this
next semester? I think you’ll all really enjoy this
book!! There’s something for everyone!
