Homeschooling – Digging Into All Of The Options
By Cindy Rushton

A Reader’s Review
By Kelly Benedict

Have you ever met Cindy Rushton, or heard her speak? Maybe read one of her books, or at least heard one of her tapes? What an awesome, inspiring woman she is! Cindy is the author of books such as Ministering to the Heart of Your Child, The Hidden Women of the Heart Bible Study, Inspiring Your Children to Greatness, Language Arts…The Easy Way, Notebooking! YES! You Can Be a Binder Queen too, Nature Study…The Easy Way, and numerous others. Cindy is also the author of Time For Tea, her own periodical that you can receive via email or newsletter. She has shared many articles in The Teaching Home Magazine, Homeschool Digest, Homeschooling Today, just to name a few. I could go on and on with the things this sincere, enthusiastic woman has done, but I’ll go on!

One of the first lessons Cindy teaches in this book is this…Do NOT conform. “What is one difference between Homeschools that do not make it and those that endure…have peace…and enjoy the journey? They do not conform to others. They are individual, unique. They do just what is right for each and every child they teach. They have their own schedule wrapped around their life. They use materials that are just right for their own children. They make education a lifestyle, uniquely their own.”

“Want it all to fit? Want for all to become joyful and delightful? Don’t conform your homeschool. Don’t be pressured to Homeschool like anyone…regardless of how great they are! Don’t conform and you will find God’s perfect plan just for you! I challenge you as Joshua challenged the Israelites in Joshua 24:14-15.”

Within Cindy’s book, Homeschooling…Digging Into All The Options, she will tell you how to Dispell the Myths…Renewing Your Mind…Developing Your OWN Philosophy of Education…On To YOUR Approach, and she will get you acquainted with Various Approaches and Philosophies Common for Homeschooling Families, and Where Do You Go From Here?? Putting It All Together for YOUR Lifestyle of Real Learning!
